Previousw Letter From Cathy Next
My Dearest Ray:

I first saw you perform on the 24th of May 98 at the San Ramon Kite Festival, I had been flying single line kites and had seen Sport kites fly, but never had the opportunity of seeing a sport kite ballet.
You took the field, and you owned my heart and soul, to the music of "You are the Wind Beneath my Wings",
Your Kites painted a love song across the sky above San Ramon, and I felt as did every one there that you flew just for me alone.
The beauty of the music, the soaring of your kites, and the warmth and love in your soul touched me so deeply, the tears streamed down my cheeks as you guided my soul on a voyage to a land I had never been before I was in heaven.
Never before have I been so moved as I was that day, I just wanted to write to you and say "Thank You", Ray.
   And I love you
Cathy.

P.S.    I met this young lady at the 1999 San Ramon Kite Festival in May for the first time. She told me it had taken her 3 hours to pick up the courage to introduce herself to me, to tell me she was the one that wrote to me, I flew just for her in my next performance. In October her friend wrote and told me the very sad news that she had died, and wanted me to know she played the video I gave her almost every day.   Ray
